Terms of Use

Billdrop · Binary Data Technology · Last updated October 3, 2026

Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Binary Data Technology, the publisher of Billdrop. By using Billdrop you agree to them. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to subscribe to a paid plan. If you use Billdrop for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for that business.

The service

Billdrop helps you create estimates, invoices, receipts and reports and keep records on your device. Billdrop is not a bank, payment processor, accountant, lawyer or tax adviser, and does not process or hold money.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of documents you create and send, for applying the correct taxes and late-fee rules for your location, for having permission to use your clients’ information, and for complying with laws that apply to your business and communications.

Plans, subscriptions and free trials

Billdrop has a Free plan and optional paid plans (Essentials, Plus and Premium) sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through Google Play. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Google Play account; subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for each period until you cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. If you cancel during a free trial you will not be charged; if you cancel later, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades take effect at your next renewal. Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy and applicable law. If a paid plan ends, your data is not deleted — features above the Free plan pause and monthly invoice limits apply again. We may change plan prices or features with advance notice as required by Google Play and law; price increases apply only from a future renewal.

Payments through third parties

Payment links and QR codes on your documents point to third-party providers you choose. Your relationship with those providers, including their fees and terms, is between you and them.

Signatures

On-screen signatures captured in Billdrop record a client’s acknowledgement on your device. Whether a signature is legally binding depends on your jurisdiction and circumstances; seek legal advice for high-value or regulated agreements.

Your data and backups

Your data is stored on your device. You are responsible for making backups. We are not liable for data lost through device loss, damage, uninstalling, or failure to back up.

Acceptable use

Do not use Billdrop to create fraudulent, misleading or unlawful documents, to impersonate others, or to infringe anyone’s rights.

Review requests and messages

If you use review requests or message templates, you are responsible for the messages you send and for following the rules of review platforms and consumer-protection laws — for example, do not offer incentives for reviews, do not post or solicit fake reviews, do not ask only the clients you expect to be positive, only message clients you have done business with, stop when they ask you to, and include any details (such as your business address) that the law requires in commercial messages.

Intellectual property

Billdrop’s software, design and brand belong to its developer. Documents and content you create belong to you.

Disclaimers and liability

Billdrop is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Reports and tax totals are for your records and are not professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app.

Ending use

You can stop using Billdrop at any time by uninstalling it; cancel any subscription separately in Google Play. We may stop offering Billdrop or a feature with reasonable notice; if a paid plan is discontinued we will stop renewals and handle refunds as required by Google Play’s policies and law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of the country where you live that cannot be waived by contract.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be shown in the app before they take effect, and the “last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms; changes to subscription prices only apply from a future renewal and Google Play will notify you as its rules require.
